Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Insek en Kriek Stationery, we want our customers to shop with confidence and enjoy every purchase. If there is a problem with your item, we are here to help in a fair and simple way.
1. General Returns
Items may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase, provided that:
✔️ The item is unused and in its original condition
✔️ Packaging is still sealed (where applicable)
✔️ Proof of purchase is provided (slip/invoice)
✔️ All accessories and parts are included
2. Damaged or Faulty Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or defective:
Please notify us as soon as possible
We may inspect the item before approving a replacement or exchange
Faulty products may be repaired, replaced, or exchanged depending on the situation
We reserve the right to test products before approving claims.
3. Exchanges
We gladly allow exchanges for:
Incorrect purchases
Wrong colours/sizes (where applicable)
Damaged items
Defective products
Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
If the new item is:
More expensive → customer pays the difference
Less expensive → store credit may be issued
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items may NOT be returned or exchanged:
❌ Used products
❌ Opened consumables (glue, paint, clay, etc.)
❌ Special order items
❌ Cut materials or customized items
❌ Digital products or downloadable content
❌ Clearance or sale items marked “No Returns”
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled at management discretion.
Where approved:
Refunds may be processed via the original payment method
EFT refunds may take 2–5 working days
Cash refunds may not always be available immediately
In some cases, store credit may be issued instead of a refund.
6. Online Orders
For online purchases:
Customers must notify us within 48 hours of receiving damaged or incorrect items
Return courier costs may apply unless the error was made by Insek en Kriek Stationery
Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct delivery details are provided
7. Important Notes
Please inspect items before leaving the store
We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling
Colour differences may occur slightly between online photos and actual products
